I got introduced to WordPress back in around 2012 when my brother used WordPress to blog. Fast forward to 2016, I joined rtCamp as a part of the BizDev team. One of the perks of being a rtCamper, is that I get to attend WordCamps!
WordCamp is basically a conference about everything WordPress. It is a platform where WordPress users can come together to network and learn about WordPress.
I attended WordCamp Nashik last Sunday with other rtCampers. If you follow me on Twitter, then you already know that.

It was my first WordCamp. The experience was awesome. The audience reminded me that the WordPress community is very large and I felt proud to be associated with that.
I made sure that I purchased my ticket before they sold out. I got to the venue on Sunday at around 8:15 AM and went up to the registration desk, got my name tag and kit. I met my colleagues and we had a quick breakfast.
We attended most of the sessions. Apart from this, we used lunch breaks, happiness bar, tea breaks as a way to meet new friends. I was lucky enough to connect with a few speakers over tea.
Open Source, Free, Community, Technology, Stories, Sharing..It’s awl here at #wcnashik

The venue for the event was perfect and everyone around appreciated the arrangements. I would like to thank and congratulate WordCamp Nashik organisers for an amazing WordCamp they organised!

Aside from the useful information that I learned, another thing that I got as a result of attending WordCamp Nashik 2016 is the inspiration to restart blogging. If you noticed, this is just my second post.
Although too much travel took a toll on my health, I had a wonderful time and I learned a lot. I look forward to attending WordCamp Udaipur 2017.
